Well, having successfully close our deal with Fairfax last week, this week marks my official start as CEO of Online Marketing Group (OMG). I have to say, I haven’t been this excited about business in a LONG time.

2008 has been a hectic year, and it has gone by very quickly, but I’m glad to say that I feel like I’m working with a really great group of people at Fairfax, and with the rest of the team at OMG.

Every time I look at one of our domains, my mind runs at 100 km/h! A few samples…

Movies.com.au

Banks.com.au

Fashion.com.au

Jobs.com.au

Cosmetics.com.au… and the list goes on.

I’m working out of the Fairfax offices at the moment, while we search for our own space over the coming month or two (probably going to be based in Pyrmont). I have to say, they have amazing offices, and Pyrmont is actually a great (and often overlooked) part of Sydney.

This is my first blog post, and in the future I’m going to use my blog to link to various articles of interest (mostly but not always internet related), and to various resources that I’ve found useful.
